WHAT TO EXPECT:
Kid + Family Volunteers will come together to make sack lunches that will provide essential nourishment to the women receiving support through Casa Paloma, a program of The Primavera Foundation.
In addition to packing lunches, Family Volunteers will write kind messages on the lunch bags to offer encouragement + brighten the recipient’s day.
This hands-on volunteer work will directly benefit Casa Paloma, a program of The Primavera Foundation.
The Primavera Foundaton provides critical support to individuals experiencing homelessness, offering shelter, resources + nourishment. Casa Paloma serves as a women’s hospitality center + day shelter, offering vital resources + support to women in need.
By preparing and packing these sack lunches, you are helping ensure that women facing homelessness and food insecurity receive a healthy meal—a small but significant step toward stability. Your efforts will provide immediate relief + demonstrate compassion + care for our unhoused neighbors.
All supplies will be provided.
A takeaway snack will be provided for the Kid Volunteers at the completion of the project.

Our small family registration fee enables Tucson Family Volunteers, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, to offset volunteer costs for this event. We do the planning, coordinating + buying of supplies (and snacks!) for all volunteer projects so that your family can just sign up, volunteer + have fun!
If you have to cancel your registration later, please know that your fee will go toward our efforts to create more give-back kindness projects for our kids, families + non-profit partners.
